FINE ART MATERNITY PHOTOGRAPHY

THIS IS HOW MATERNITY PHOTOGRAPHY BECAME MAINSTREAM:

A lot of mothers-to-be love the idea of having their own creative, fine art maternity images to enjoy in the years after their baby is born; not just for themselves, but for when the baby gets older as well. It makes a wonderfully unique family keepsake. We offer a wide variety of stylized lighting setups to choose from to suit anyone's taste. But first, a little about the history of fine art maternity photography.

In 1991, a well known celebrity photographer by the name of Annie Leibovitz shot a cover photo for Vanity Fair Magazine featuring Demi Moore in her seventh month of pregnancy. Since then, that maternity photo has not only become an image of iconic proportions but it also 'gave birth' to the very popular genre of Fine Art Maternity Photography. (No pun intended) At last, expectant mothers were now able to visualize themselves differently by being able to recognize the absolute beauty of maternity. With the help of their own professional maternity photographer, they now had the means by which to preserve this unparalleled beauty of maternity for themselves and their children in the years ahead. 

With a variety of studio lighting setups, we are able provide creative and beautifully finished, fine art maternity photography to document this wonderful time in a woman's life. Our goal with a fine art maternity photography session is to capture this 'moment in time' in the most complimentary and attractive way for the expectant mother, providing contemporary maternity images that accent her beauty today and for the future. You can expect lovely maternity photography photos in both color and B&W, which will be similar to what you see in our maternity gallery. It's always helpful for us to know what you like the most in terms of a maternity photography session and what you're most comfortable with. 

In fact, if you have a special fine art maternity image concept you've seen somewhere other than our maternity photo gallery that you would like us to replicate, or a special style of lighting that appeals to you, perhaps a special pose you want to try....please let us know. Show us what you like! If a sample maternity image is provided to us in advance of your maternity shoot, we will do our absolute best to replicate that setup and lighting scheme (as closely as possible) as part of your session. We want you to be thrilled with your maternity photography results. Have a special maternity lingerie ensemble that you would like to include in your shoot? Bring it along with you. Our fine art maternity premium package is only $625 and provides you with a generous amount of different images to choose from which includes varied lighting set-ups, online proof gallery, AND A MATERNITY PRINT COLLECTION for you to share with family; including, twenty 5x7 prints - four 8x10 enlargement prints AND a strikingly beautiful 11x14 print of your most favorite for framing - all on archival quality photo paper.
